I hate chirstmas. Because life carries on afterwards, and all the shit you didnt do because you were busy playing nice and engaging in festivities, is still there. Only now you have less time to do it.
I have taken to reading more poetry than prose of late, Fleur Adcock is defiantly a favorite.
